The Chamber of Private Enforcement Agents of Kosovo, as part of its commitment to strengthening cooperation with financial and legal institutions in the country, hosted a formal meeting today with senior representatives of the Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund (KCGF), led by the Managing Director, Mr. Besnik Berisha.
In this meeting, the Chamber was represented by Mr. Kushtrim Metaj, member of the Executive Board, and Mr. Mervan Zejnullahu, Head of Professional Service. The KCGF delegation consisted of Mr. Besnik Berisha (Managing Director), Mr. Vilson Ukaj (Senior Legal and Real Estate Manager), Ms. Besa Jashari (Senior Legal and Compliance Manager), and Ms. Jehona Gjergji (Legal Officer)..
The discussion focused on the importance of efficient cooperation between the two institutions, given the vital role that KCGF plays in the Kosovo economy. Mr. Berisha announced that the Fund currently guarantees loans for approximately 20,000 borrowers, with a portfolio value reaching about 1 billion euros, thereby facilitating access to finance for businesses and citizens.
The parties discussed the modalities of cooperation in cases of enforcement of obligations by the enforcement body, for loans guaranteed by this fund. The Chamber's representatives explained the enforcement procedures in detail, from the moment of the proposal to the final execution, offering the enforcement system's full readiness to handle these cases with efficiency and professionalism.
The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to intensify institutional communication, with the aim of increasing legal certainty and efficiency in the execution of decisions.
