In the framework of continuous efforts for professional coordination and strengthening the rule of law, high representatives of the Chamber of Private Enforcement Agents of Kosovo (CPEA) held an official meeting with the leaders of the Kosovo Chamber of Advocates (KCA). This meeting marks an important step towards synchronizing actions between our two institutions.
The CPEA delegation, headed by Chairman Mehdi Reshani, Vice-Chairman Driton Govori, Executive Board member Sefer Arifi, and Executive Director Mervan Zejnullahu, were received at the KCA premises by Chairman Besnik R. Berisha and Executive Director Arife Gashi.
The meeting took place as a continuation of regular communications between the two chambers, with the clear aim of addressing recent challenges that have emerged in professional practice during interactions between enforcement agents and advocates. During the conversation, the parties elaborated in detail the need for a more constructive approach to resolving procedural obstacles, focusing on increasing the efficiency of enforcement procedures and strictly respecting professional ethics.
The Chairman of CPEA, Mr. Reshani, emphasized that close cooperation with the Chamber of Advocates is essential for a transparent and fair enforcement process. On the other hand, representatives of both institutions agreed that institutional dialogue is the only way to eliminate ambiguities that can often slow down the realization of the rights of citizens and businesses.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties pledged to hold regular periodic meetings, so that best legal practices are implemented uniformly, thus guaranteeing a more efficient and accountable justice system for all actors involved.
